It was a dream of mine to be able to shoot pictures of a wild Timber Rattlesnake. Well I finally got my opportunity on July 23, 2012. A good friend found one crawling thru his neighbor's yard in the DWGNRA & called me. I was able to go up & with the aid of a professional snake stick get some really nice shots. It was a beautifully colored yellow specimen with a very mellow demeanor. Never once did it strike out. Just a gorgeous animal & one encounter I'll never forget.
