Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers are abundant in Stokes State Forest.
Red-bellied Woodpeckers are probably the most common ones seen in yards at feeders.
Downy Woodpeckers are always around if you have any type of suet feeders out.
I've only seen 3 Hairy Woodpeckers in my life so I consider them rare.

I found this flicker nest in a tree in Stokes State Forest. May 27, 2009
